There is no confirmed working code in Murder Mystery 2, and the old knife codes such as C0RL, SK00L or HW2017 are from years ago. The code box is still in your inventory, so it looks like it should work. Below is what each old code gave, why some lists still call them active, and the free routes to knives and guns that work every round.

Is there a working MM2 code

No code is confirmed active. A few code pages still show C0RL, D3NIS, SUB0, SK00L and HW2017 as working, while others list the same codes as expired. When the sources do not agree, the safe answer is that the code does not work, and if you want to try, typing it costs you nothing.

Nikilis, the developer, has not posted a new code in a long time. A monthly list of “new MM2 codes” is just the old ones in a different order.

Every old MM2 code

Code

What it gave

C0RL, D3NIS, SUB0, SK00L, AL3X, PATR1CK

Knives named after YouTubers and the developer’s friends

R3PT1L3, PR1SM, N3ON, INF3CT3D, SK3TCH

Themed knives

COMB4T2

Combat II knife

HW2017

Pumpkin pet, the only pet ever given by code

F1RSTC0D3, 2015, B4CK2SK00L, N3XTL3V3L

Early event items

If you want one of these items today, the only way is trading with a player who owns it.

How the MM2 code box works

Open Murder Mystery 2 and go to your Inventory.

Find the EnterCode box in the bottom right.

Type the code, capitals and zeros exactly as written, and press Redeem.

MM2 codes use numbers in place of letters: 0 for O, 1 for I, 3 for E, 4 for A. Typing CORL with the letter O will never work. On PlayStation the box is missing.

The free way to knives: coins and crates

Every round drops coins on the map. You can collect up to 40 per round, or 50 with the Elite pass. A Mystery Box costs 1,000 coins. The game shows the odds for each box, and a Godly is rare, about 0.2 percent in the first box, so think of crates as a long collection, not a quick win.

Collect coins as Innocent. You have the most time to roam.

Stay alive. Dying early ends your coin collecting for that round.

Recycle duplicates. Duplicate weapons turn into fragments of the same rarity, and fragments craft new items.

Trading safely

Trade only with the in-game trade window, where both sides see the items before accepting. Never accept “give first and I will send it later”, never trade for Robux outside Roblox, and never log in to a site that promises free Godlies. Those are the most common ways MM2 accounts are stolen.

Where a new code would show up

If Nikilis releases codes again, they will appear on the developer’s official X account and in the game’s Discord, usually tied to a big update or the Halloween and Christmas events. Until then, the code box is a museum.

Events: the real free knives

Halloween and Christmas are when MM2 gives the most. Events bring their own currency that you collect by playing rounds, and that currency buys event knives, guns and pets without Robux. If you play MM2 only a few weeks a year, make it those weeks.

Level up

Every round gives XP, and levels show your progress to other players. Surviving and winning rounds as Sheriff or Murderer gives more than dying early.

Know values before you trade

Players trade using community value lists. Check a value before you accept: a Godly that looks fancy can be worth less than a plain old knife. Never rush a trade because the other player says the offer ends in seconds.

How to collect more coins per round

Learn the maps. Coins spawn across the whole map, and the corners and upper floors are often empty of players. As Innocent, keep moving along walls and away from groups, where the Murderer looks first. As Sheriff, collect while you watch, and shoot only when you are sure. A full bag of 40 coins every round is what turns a free account into a box opener.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Redeem do nothing

The code is no longer active. There is no error message, the box just does nothing.

Is there an MM2 code for a Godly

No. No public code has ever given a Godly.

Can I get the Pumpkin pet now

Only by trading. HW2017 was a Halloween 2017 code.

When is the best time to get free items

During Halloween and Christmas events, when event currency buys knives and pets.

MM2 codes for Murder Mystery 2: the old knife codes, the Pumpkin pet, and the free ways to unlock knives and guns today without risking your account.

[3
48,120,119,45
post-298","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-guides","tag-codes","tag-knives","tag-murder-mystery-2","tag-roblox
["GET
