Free Fire WhatsApp group links show you this when you join

Free Fire WhatsApp group links put you in chats for squads, codes and account sales. What each group holds, what members see of you and the safe option.

Free Fire WhatsApp group links exposing a player's number

Free Fire WhatsApp group links take you into open chats where players look for squads, swap redeem codes and sell or trade accounts, and the moment you join every member can see your number. We do not publish links here, on purpose: any list online is full of groups nobody moderates. What you find inside, what you give away and the group Free Fire already has built in are below.

A full WhatsApp group can hold up to 1,024 people. In a Free Fire group that size, more than a thousand strangers get your number with one tap, and most of the trouble starts in private messages, not in the group itself.

Five kinds of Free Fire groups you will meet

1. Squad and custom room groups

The useful kind. Players post their UID, rank and server and look for teammates, or share custom room IDs and passwords for friendly scrims. Good ones have rules pinned and an admin who removes spam.

2. Redeem code groups

Someone posts “new code” every hour. A few are real codes copied from Garena’s livestreams; many are old, from another region or invented. Every real code is redeemed only on the Rewards Redemption Site, never through a link someone drops in the chat.

3. Account buy, sell and trade groups

Accounts with rare outfits, old Elite Passes or high rank are offered for money or for another account. This is the most dangerous type. Garena’s support center says sharing, buying, selling or trading a Free Fire account breaks section 6.2 of its terms, and the penalty can be a permanent suspension. Garena also says it does not unban or recover accounts that were shared willingly.

4. “Free Diamonds” and giveaway groups

Admins promise Diamonds, Booyah Passes or old event bundles if you share the group, subscribe to a channel or send your login. Garena states that it never runs promotions or gives rewards through unofficial channels, and a WhatsApp group run by a player is not an official channel, whatever logo it uses as its picture.

5. File groups

Groups that pass around APKs, “headshot config” files, panels and macros. Installing any of them is the fastest route to a ban; we opened several of these files in our Panel FF breakdown.

What every member sees about you

WhatsApp explains in its help center that group member numbers cannot be hidden from other members, even from people who have not saved you. When you join a group you hand out:

  • Your number, to every member.
  • Your name and, depending on your privacy settings, your photo and About.
  • A direct line to you: anyone in the group can open a private chat with one tap.

WhatsApp is adding usernames so people who have not saved you see an alias. Until that feature is active on your account, assume your number is visible.

The three tricks Garena warns about

Free Fire support describes what usually happens when someone “sells” a high level account:

  • Pay first and vanish: you send the money and the seller blocks you.
  • Take it back: the seller hands over the account, then uses the original linked login to recover it.
  • Burnt account: the account was used for cheating and arrives already flagged or banned.

Diamond top-ups have their own trick. Garena says its only official web top-up page is its own shop, and that any lookalike page can be built to steal your data. A group member offering “cheap Diamonds by UID” through another address is exactly that case.

The group that does not need your number: the guild

If what you want is people to play with, Free Fire already has a group feature: the guild. Garena describes it as a group of players who choose to play together, with a name, a slogan and members approved by the leader. It all happens inside the game, under your nickname.

  1. Tap the Guild icon in the lobby.
  2. Search by guild name or guild ID, or pick a recommended one.
  3. Send a join request and wait for the leader or vice leader.

A few limits worth knowing: you can be in one guild at a time, send up to 10 join requests a day, and you cannot leave during the first 24 hours after joining. Creating your own guild costs Diamonds or Gold, and the guild levels up with points from daily missions and squad matches with guildmates.

If you still want a WhatsApp group for your squad

  • Who can add you: Settings, Privacy, Groups, choose My contacts so strangers cannot drop you into a group.
  • Turn on two-step verification in Settings, Account, so nobody can move your WhatsApp to another device with a stolen code.
  • Never forward a six digit code that WhatsApp, Google or Facebook sends you. The “I sent my code to your number by mistake” message is how WhatsApp accounts are taken.
  • Keep it small: a group with your real squad, not one built from a link list.

Squad groups ask you to post your UID all the time. A UID shows your public profile to anyone, but it cannot be used to log in, so post it freely and keep your number and login codes to yourself.

The safest Free Fire group is the guild, because it gives you teammates without giving anyone your number. Use WhatsApp only with people you already play with, and treat any group that sells accounts or promises Diamonds as the place where accounts get lost.

Frequently asked questions

Can I join a Free Fire WhatsApp group without showing my number

Not while usernames are off on your account. In a group, members see the numbers of other members.

Can an admin see my Free Fire account

Only what you share. Your UID shows your public profile, but it does not let anyone log in.

Is it allowed to sell my Free Fire account in a group

No. Garena forbids buying, selling and trading accounts, and the account can be suspended for good.

Are there official Free Fire WhatsApp channels

Garena runs official social pages by region. Trust only the ones linked from the official Free Fire website or the game itself.
