The top of the Brawl Stars tier list right now is Wendy, followed by Shade, Juju, Amber, El Primo and Cosmo. These six win the most ranked games in the Brawl-o-Ween season (Season 55, live since October 1, 2026), and they do it even after the September 16 balance patch hit several of them. Below them, a large A tier gives you safe picks for almost any map.
This list is built from ranked numbers, not from feelings. Stat trackers that read hundreds of thousands of ranked battles over the last 30 days put Wendy around a 58% win rate, Shade around 57%, Juju and Amber close behind. In a game where 50% is average, every point above it matters.
S tier: the brawlers that win the most
| Brawler | Why they are here |
|---|---|
| Wendy | Highest win rate in ranked and in adjusted win-rate tables, even after her shield nerf |
| Shade | Still second despite being the most nerfed brawler of the September patch |
| Juju | Buffed on September 16 and climbing fast |
| Amber | Area control that wins Hot Zone and Knockout rounds |
| El Primo | Nerfed, yet his win rate barely moved |
| Cosmo | The newest brawler before Vince, already near the top of win-rate tables |
The funny part of this S tier: four of the six were nerfed on September 16. Wendy, Shade, Amber and El Primo all lost something, and they are still on top. Supercell is likely to look at them again in the next balance round.
A tier: safe picks for every mode
Gus, Sprout, Tara, Nita, Melodie, Bo, Pearl, Ash, Bibi, Rico, 8-Bit, R-T, Emz, Bolt, Sirius, Nori, Ollie and Brock.
This is the tier to learn if you push trophies alone. These brawlers do not need a perfect team. A few to start with:
- Sprout and Nita: walls and summons that punish teams that stand still.
- Brock and Rico: two of the most picked brawlers in ranked, easy to play and strong on open maps.
- Bolt and Ollie: both sit in the top three of adjusted win rates, which count how good a brawler is for the average player.
B tier: strong in the right hands
Colt, Starr Nova, Griff, Mortis, Edgar, Larry & Lawrie, Hank, Mina, Gigi, Damian, Surge, Chester, Mandy, Pierce, Kit, Stu, Max and Colette.
Here sit several former kings. Edgar, Mortis and Colette ruled the summer meta, but the slower, control-heavy game of this season gives assassins fewer free kills. If you main one of them, keep them for maps with lots of walls and bushes.
C and D tiers: wait for a buff
C tier: Bull, Tick, Spike, Penny, Meg, Rosa, Angelo, Chuck, Willow, Nani, Fang, Leon, Gale, Buzz, Dynamike, Kenji, Jessie, Poco, Shelly, Maisie, Otis, Sandy, Cordelius, Mico, Darryl, Squeak and Ziggy.
D tier: Bea, Lou, Berry, Crow, Barley, Piper, Byron, Jacky, Belle, Frank, Carl, Ruffs, Janet, Gray, Glowy, Kaze, Moe, Lola, Doug, Trunk, Jae-yong, Finx, Draco, Meeple and Alli.
Crow is the biggest fall of the year. He was S tier in June, the August 4 patch cut him down, and he has not recovered. Poco, Chuck, Willow and Trunk got buffs in September but still lose more than they win.
What the September 16 patch changed
| Nerfed | Buffed |
|---|---|
| Shade, Gus, El Primo, Amber, Nori, Wendy, Meg, Colette, Brock | Poco, Chuck, Ollie, Trunk, Willow, Juju, Pam, Belle, R-T |
Shade took the most cuts: his Super charges about 15% slower near enemies, the Long Arms gadget waits 20 seconds instead of 18, the Jump Scare fear radius shrank and his Hypercharge bonus damage was roughly halved. Wendy got more health, from 2,000 to 2,500, but lost most of her shields. The result: both still sit at the top.
Where Vince fits
Vince is the 108th brawler, a Mythic Damage Dealer and the face of Brawl-o-Ween. He is in Early Access this season, so very few players own him and there are not enough battles to rank him fairly. His trait turns caterpillars on the map into moths, up to 20, and his Super releases them.
Until his numbers settle, treat Vince as a fun pick, not a ranked pick. Once he joins Brawler Blast, the place where you unlock brawlers with Credits, he will cost the usual Mythic price.
How to use this tier list
Pick one S tier brawler and two A tier brawlers you enjoy, and play only those three for a week. Win rates are an average: a brawler you know well in B tier beats an S tier brawler you have never played. Free Gems and rewards for unlocking them come from the Brawl Pass and events, explained in our guide to what Brawl Stars hack menus really give you.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the best brawler in Brawl Stars right now
Wendy. She has the highest ranked win rate of the season, around 58%, even after her September nerf.
When does the Brawl Stars tier list change
After every balance patch. The last one was the September 16, 2026 maintenance, with nine nerfs and nine buffs.
Is Vince good
It is too early to say. He is in Early Access and has too few ranked battles to place in a tier.
Is Crow still good
No. After the August nerf he dropped to D tier and has not climbed back.
