PUBG Mobile redeem codes go through the official PUBG Mobile Redemption Center, a web page linked from the game’s official site. You need three things: your Character ID, the code and a verification code. No login, no password. The reward is sent to your in-game mail.
Two other things get mixed up with this, and they cause most of the confusion: Midasbuy, the official store where you buy UC and redeem paid gift cards, and the endless “free UC code” lists that copy each other. Each one is explained below.
Three kinds of PUBG Mobile codes
| Type | Where you use it | What it gives |
|---|---|---|
| Promo redeem code | Redemption Center (web) | Outfits, skins, crates, emotes, fragments |
| UC gift card or voucher | Midasbuy or the store that sold it | The UC someone paid for |
| Event code inside the game | The event page in the lobby | Event items, only during that event |
If you were given a gift card, it is paid UC and goes to Midasbuy. If you saw a code in a livestream or an official post, it goes to the Redemption Center.
Active PUBG Mobile codes
| Code | Reward |

| No public code is confirmed active right now | – |
Tencent releases promo codes in waves, usually around anniversaries, big collaborations and esports finals. Many work for only 24 to 72 hours or until a fixed number of players has used them. When a code is live, the Redemption Center accepts it instantly; when it is not, no trick will revive it.
How to redeem, step by step
- Copy your Character ID. In the lobby, tap your avatar. The number under your name is the ID. Long-press to copy.
- Open the PUBG Mobile Redemption Center from the official PUBG Mobile website. Do not use a link from a comment or a video.
- Paste the Character ID in the first box.
- Type the code. Capital letters, no spaces.
- Type the verification code from the image.
- Tap Redeem and confirm that the nickname shown is yours.
- Open the game mail and collect the reward.
Because the page only needs an ID, you can redeem a code for a friend by typing their Character ID. The reward goes to them.
What Midasbuy is, and what it is not
Midasbuy is Tencent’s official top-up store for PUBG Mobile. On it you buy UC with money and redeem UC gift cards and vouchers that someone bought for you. It also runs its own promotions now and then. What it does not do is hand out free UC through public codes. A page that looks like Midasbuy and offers “free UC” for your ID is a copy of the store, built to collect logins or payment data.
Why your code fails
- Expired or used up. The most common reason. Promo codes are short-lived.
- Wrong game. BGMI (India) has its own codes on its own page. PUBG Mobile global codes do not work there, nor BGMI codes here.
- Already redeemed. One use per account.
- Region limit. Some codes are made for one country or one partner.
- Typo in the ID or the captcha. One wrong digit returns an error.
Where new codes are posted
- The official PUBG Mobile accounts on X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Discord.
- Esports broadcasts of official PUBG Mobile tournaments.
- Collaboration launches, when a brand or a series arrives in the game.
Stay away from these
UC generators, “UC hack” APKs and sites that want your Facebook, Google or X password do not give UC. They steal accounts, and accounts that use modded clients get banned. The real redemption page never asks for a password.
What PUBG Mobile gives you for free
- The free Royale Pass track. Missions each week unlock outfits, crates and Silver fragments without paying UC.
- Login events. New seasons and collaborations usually open with a sign-in calendar; log in each day to get the full reward.
- Achievements. The achievements menu pays items and titles for things you do anyway, like wins or kills with a weapon.
- Silver fragments and the Silver shop. Fragments from missions and codes buy real items in the shop, so small rewards are not wasted.
- Esports events. During official tournaments the game often adds prediction and watch events with free crates.
When codes usually drop
Expect code waves around the PUBG Mobile anniversary in March, at new Royale Pass seasons, with big collaborations and during PMGC, the global championship at the end of the year. Because many codes last only a day or two, turn on notifications for the official accounts and redeem the moment a code appears.
