Roblox promo codes are redeemed on the Roblox website at roblox.com/redeem, logged in with your account, and they give free avatar items, never Robux. The one promo code that keeps working is SPIDERCOLA, which unlocks the Spider Cola shoulder pet. Robux only come from a gift card you buy or from a Roblox Premium membership.
Most lists of Roblox promo codes are full of codes from events that ended years ago. Roblox no longer drops new codes every week, so a page with twenty new codes is copying old ones.
Roblox promo code that works
| Code | Free item | Where |
|---|---|---|
| SPIDERCOLA | Spider Cola shoulder accessory | roblox.com/redeem |
Codes you will see but should not trust
- FREENGNBOI and FREENGNGON (Nguyen bundles): some lists still show them, others mark them as ended. Try them: the worst that happens is an error.
- TWEETROBLOX (The Bird Says shoulder item): the long-running classic is reported as expired.
How to redeem a Roblox promo code
- Open a browser, on your computer or on mobile, and go to roblox.com. The browser is where redeeming always works.
- Log in to your own account.
- Go to roblox.com/redeem. The old address roblox.com/promocodes takes you to the same page.
- Type or paste the code.
- Press Redeem. A green message confirms it.
- Open your Avatar editor and look in Accessories to put the item on.
Gift cards are redeemed in the same box. A Robux card adds Robux; a credit card adds balance you can turn into Robux or Premium.
Promo code, game code or gift card
Half of the codes that fail are typed in the wrong place. Roblox uses three different things that all get called codes:
| Kind | Who gives it | Where you type it | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Promo code | Roblox | roblox.com/redeem | Avatar items |
| Experience code | The creator of one experience | Inside that experience | Coins, boosts or items of that game only |
| Gift card | Bought in a store | roblox.com/redeem | Robux or credit |
Codes for Blox Fruits, Adopt Me or Pet Simulator 99 are experience codes. On roblox.com/redeem they always say invalid. Some Roblox promotions also give items through special experiences, where the code is typed in a box inside that world, not on the website.
When the redeem page says no
- Invalid code: it is a game code, a typo, or a code that never existed.
- Expired: the event ended. Nothing to fix.
- Already redeemed: you have the item already. Check your inventory.
- Not logged in, or logged in to the wrong account: the item goes to the account in the top corner, so check it before you press Redeem.
Where new promo codes come from
Roblox gives promo codes with brand collaborations, big events, toys and gift card promotions. They appear on Roblox’s official channels and on the official event pages first. The most common free items today are not codes at all: they are UGC items and event rewards you win by playing certain experiences, which go straight to your inventory.
No code gives free Robux
Any site promising a Robux code, a Robux generator or free Robux for your username and password is trying to take the account. Roblox’s own rule is simple: Robux come from buying them, from Premium, or from selling your creations. Nobody needs your password to give you an item.
Free Roblox items without any code
- Free items in the Marketplace: filter the Avatar Shop by price and you will find items that cost 0 Robux, including limited free UGC items that run out.
- Event experiences: brand events and Roblox’s own events give items for finishing quests inside the event world.
All of these go straight to your inventory. None of them ask for your password, and none give Robux.
