How you really get Bonds in Dead Rails
Bonds are the currency you keep after a run. You find them as items on the way to Mexico and they count when you pick them up.
- Search the buildings. Bonds lie inside houses, banks, sheriff stations and other buildings in the towns you stop at. Check every room, upstairs included.
- Go farther. The longer you survive along the 80 kilometers, the more towns you loot and the more Bonds you see.
- Play with friends. One player drives and guards the train while the others sweep the town. You cover more buildings in less time.
- Do not skip stops to save fuel. Running out of coal is a risk, but rushing past towns means rushing past Bonds.
What to spend Bonds on first
Bonds unlock classes and starting gear in the lobby shop. A class changes your whole run, so it is the best first purchase. Pick one that fixes your weak point: if you die to zombies at night, a fighting class; if you run out of supplies, one that helps you gather. Cosmetics and extra trains can wait.
Why Dead Rails code sites are a risk
A game this popular attracts copy pages and fake generators. Some ask for your Roblox username and password “to send the Bonds”. Nothing outside the game can add Bonds to your account, so a login form is only a way to steal it. Others push you to download an app or a script. Scripts that promise free Bonds break the Roblox rules and can get your account banned.
A simple test: if a site gives a Dead Rails code, ask yourself where you would type it. There is no place.

The game gives a badge every 10 kilometers. They are free goals that show your progress and push you to go one town farther each run.
The right team for more Bonds
A group of four covers a town in half the time. Give each player a job before the train stops: one driver who stays at the controls and feeds coal, one guard on the train, two looters who sweep every building for Bonds and valuables. Meet back at the train before night falls. Teams that split this way go farther than four players looting the same house.
