The Garena Tools panel, also shared as Painel Garena Tools, Garena Tools 2.0, Painel Garena Menu and Garena Menu Prime, is a third party APK with a floating menu for Free Fire; Garena does not make it, publish it or hand it out. The company’s name in the title is the hook. What Garena itself decides about the panel, in its own words, is at the end.
The name does most of the selling. Garena is the company that develops and publishes Free Fire, so a tool called “Garena Tools” sounds close to official, like something the developers left for players. That impression is exactly what the file depends on.
Where the name Painel Garena Tools comes from
“Painel” is Portuguese for panel. The tool comes from the Brazilian Free Fire scene, which is why most videos, menus and comments about it are in Portuguese. In Brazilian slang a “xit” is a cheat that gives an advantage, and many versions advertise themselves with that word.
English speaking players meet it through short videos and groups, under spellings like garena tools, garena tool panel, garena tools apk, painel garena tools 20.0 or garena menu ff. They all point to the same family of files.
What the menu promises
Every version shows a floating button over the game. Tap it and a list of switches appears. The labels change, but they fall into two groups:

You will see 2.0, 9.0, 20.0, “atualizado”, “2026” and “Prime” glued to the name. These numbers do not mark real releases from a known developer. A higher number makes an old file look alive and new, and each re-upload resets the comments and the download count. Words like “original”, “oficial” and “grátis” are added the same way, to stand out from copies that carry the identical name.
How the file is shared
The name most often attached to the Garena Tools download is Rekonise. It is not an app store. It is a link locker: a creator hides a link and only reveals it after you subscribe to a YouTube channel, join a Discord server or follow an account.
That is the business. Every player who wants the panel leaves a subscriber or a follower for the uploader. The file is the bait; your click is the payment.
The other route is a direct folder on a file host such as Mediafire. Nothing there is checked. You install an APK from a stranger and then allow it to draw over other apps, the permission a floating menu needs to sit on top of Free Fire.
What Garena says, rule by rule
On the official Free Fire support site, Garena explains that it considers cheating the use of any third party program that Garena has not published. A panel named after Garena but not released by Garena falls right inside that sentence.
- Modified clients: playing with a modified or unauthorized game client counts as cheating.
- Zero tolerance: cheating accounts receive permanent bans; temporary suspensions also exist depending on the case.
- Teammates too: Garena penalizes players who team up with cheaters, so a friend using the panel in your squad can drag your account down.
- Reports: Garena asks players to report cheaters from the match itself, and those reports feed its reviews.
What a ban takes with it
A permanent ban does not only remove your rank. It removes the account: every outfit, pass, gun skin and Diamond you bought or earned. If Garena Tools is already on your device
- Uninstall it from Settings, Apps. Also remove any app it asked you to add.
- Check Settings, Apps, Special access, Display over other apps, and turn it off for anything you do not recognize.
- Run Google Play Protect from the Play Store menu.
- Change the password of the Google or Facebook account linked to Free Fire, from another device if you can, and turn on two-step verification.
What the panel offers that you can do for free
The friendly half of the menu is a few settings the game already gives you. Set graphics to Smooth and turn on high frame rate if your device supports it. Garena’s answer to the Garena Tools panel is that it is a third party program it never published, and that using one is cheating punished with a permanent ban. The word Garena in the title is the only part of the panel that comes from Garena.
