MLBB redeem codes are claimed on Moonton’s official Code Exchange page (mobilelegends.com/en/codexchange), not inside the game. You enter your Game ID, Moonton sends a verification code to your in-game mailbox, and you paste that code plus the redeem code on the page. The reward then arrives in your mail.
The step that trips most players is the second one. The page does not ask for a password. It asks for a short code that only appears in your own mailbox, so you have to switch between Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and the browser. Do it in the right order and a code takes less than a minute.
Your Game ID is the first number, not the one in brackets
Tap your avatar in the top-left corner of the lobby. Under your name you see something like ID: 123456789 (12345).
- 123456789 is your Game ID. This is what the Code Exchange wants.
- (12345) is your Zone ID, the server. The Code Exchange does not ask for it.
Copy the long number by tapping the copy icon next to it. Typing it by hand is where most “wrong ID” errors come from.
How to redeem MLBB codes on the Code Exchange
- Open your browser and type mobilelegends.com/en/codexchange yourself. The old m.mobilelegends.com address sends you to the same page.
- Paste your Game ID and tap Send.
- Go back to MLBB and open your mailbox. You get a message from Moonton with a verification code.
- Back on the page, type that code in the Verification Code box.
- Type the redeem code exactly as published and tap Redeem.
- Open the mailbox again and collect the reward.
The verification code lasts about 30 minutes. Inside that window you can redeem several codes in a row without asking for a new one. If you come back later, tap Send again and use the new code.
What MLBB redeem codes usually give
| Reward type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Skin trial cards | Use a skin for a few days |
| Hero trial cards | Try a hero before buying it |
| Battle Points and Magic Dust | Buy heroes and upgrade emblems |
| Fragments and tickets | Exchange in the shop for skins and items |
| Event items | Tokens for the event that is running |
Codes from Moonton come out in small numbers and many have a cap: once enough players use one, it stops working for everyone else. That is why a code can work for a friend at lunch and fail for you at night.
Codes that promise huge piles of Diamonds
Lists online often show codes that promise 1,000 Diamonds or more. Diamonds are the paid currency, so public codes rarely carry them in big amounts. Test any code on the Code Exchange: the page tells you instantly if it is real and active. A code that only works on some other website is not an MLBB code.
MLBB code errors and what to do
| Message | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Invalid or wrong code | Typo, space, or a made-up code | Copy it again from the source |
| Code expired | Its time ran out | Move on to the next code |
| Redemption limit reached | The cap filled up | Nothing to fix; be faster next time |
| Verification code error | The mail code timed out or was mistyped | Tap Send and use the new one |
| Already redeemed | Your account used it before | Check your mailbox |
Some codes are only for new accounts, such as welcome codes. On an older account they return an error, and that is normal.
Where real MLBB codes are published
- Official Mobile Legends social pages (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), especially for collaborations and big anniversaries.
- MPL and MSC streams, where codes sometimes appear on screen during matches.
- Livestreams of official partners and creators chosen by Moonton for a campaign.
Codes are released for one region or for everyone. If a code is region-locked, the page rejects it on accounts from other servers.
The only thing the Code Exchange asks you for
Game ID, a mail code and the redeem code. Moonton never asks for your Moonton account password, your Google, Facebook or TikTok login, or a payment card to redeem a code. Pages that copy the MLBB look and ask for those want your account. The same goes for apps and “diamond injectors” that promise codes: they lead to stolen accounts or bans.
Redeem codes for a friend or a second account
You can. Put the other Game ID on the page, then the verification code goes to that account’s mailbox. Your friend reads it to you, you finish the redeem, and the reward lands with them. Each account can use each code once.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a code box inside Mobile Legends
No. Codes go through the Code Exchange page in a browser. The only in-game step is opening the mailbox for the verification code and the reward.
Why did I not get the verification code
Check that you pasted the first number of your ID, not the Zone ID. Then close and reopen the mailbox, as the message can take a moment.
Do I need to enter my server
No. The Code Exchange only asks for the Game ID. The number in brackets is not used.
How long do MLBB codes last
Usually a few days, and capped codes can die in hours. Redeem a new code as soon as you see it on an official channel.
