The only Wuthering Waves code that works for everyone is WUTHERINGGIFT. It gives 50 Astrite, 2 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Medium Revival Inhalers, 2 Medium Energy Bags and 10,000 Shell Credits. You redeem it inside the game: open the Terminal, go to Settings, then Other Settings, and press Redeem next to Redemption Code.
Every other code you see in old lists is dead. Kuro Games switches them off after a few days, and the big ones only live during livestream week.
Wuthering Waves code that works
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| WUTHERINGGIFT | 50 Astrite, 2 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Medium Revival Inhalers, 2 Medium Energy Bags, 10,000 Shell Credits |
It is a welcome code with no announced end date. If you redeemed it on your first day, you cannot use it again on that account.
Why your list has 70 codes and none of them work
Kuro Games releases codes in two ways. Small codes come with events, anniversaries and partner promotions. Big codes come in the livestream before each version, usually three of them worth 300 Astrite together. Both kinds expire, many within a few days.
Code pages rarely delete them. That is why you find long lists of codes such as these, all expired:
- Livestream codes: FALLINGSANCTUM, FINDSENTINEL, WAKINGMOON, HEARTOFSWORD, ETERNALFLAME, THEANSWER.
- Anniversary codes: 1STANNIVERSARY, 2NDANNIVERSARY.
- Launch and platform codes: WUTHERING2024, WUTHERINGWAVESGIFT, WUWA4PC.
If you type one of them, the game says the code is invalid or expired. Nothing is wrong with your account.
Redeem a Wuthering Waves code step by step
- Play the opening until the Terminal unlocks.
- Open the Terminal (Esc on PC, the menu icon on mobile and console).
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Other Settings, the tab with the wrench icon.
- Next to Redemption Code, press Redeem.
- Type the code exactly and confirm.
- Open your Mail and claim the reward.
Unlike HoYoverse games, Wuthering Waves has no public website to redeem codes. Everything goes through the Terminal.
Do not leave it in the mail
Rewards that sit unclaimed in the Wuthering Waves mail are deleted after a while. Claim them the same day. The same happens with livestream codes: they are only worth it if you open the mail.
The real Astrite: livestream week
A few days before each new version, Kuro Games holds a special livestream. During the broadcast three codes appear, and together they give about 300 Astrite plus materials. That is close to two Convenes, six times what WUTHERINGGIFT gives.
Those codes are also posted on the official Wuthering Waves social accounts during the stream. Redeem them that day or the next. After that, they land in the dead list above.
How to use 50 Astrite and the potions
One Convene costs 160 Astrite, so the welcome code alone does not get you a pull. Add it to your savings for the limited Resonator banner.
The Premium Resonance Potions are the useful part for new players: they are experience for Resonators. The Medium Energy Bags refill a Resonator’s energy in a hard fight, and the Revival Inhalers bring a fallen Resonator back during exploration.
Sites that ask for your login to send Astrite are not from Kuro Games. Real codes are typed in your own Terminal and nowhere else.
Pity in Wuthering Waves
On the featured Resonator Convene, a 5-star is guaranteed by pull 80. The first one is a 50/50; if you get a standard 5-star, the next one is guaranteed to be the featured Resonator. The weapon Convene gives the featured weapon at every 5-star. Pity carries over between banners of the same type.
So keep Astrite for the limited banner. Do not spend it on Waveplate refills or Lustrous Tides for the standard banner: those are the two common ways to burn Astrite for little.
Free Astrite that does not need codes
- Daily Activity: complete your daily tasks to 100 activity for 60 Astrite a day.
- Tower of Adversity and Whimpering Wastes: endgame modes that reset regularly and pay Astrite for each star.
- Exploration: Sonance Caskets, chests and puzzles in every new area pay Astrite, and region exploration levels add more.
- Events and web events: each version has several with Astrite rewards.
- Union Level rewards and the free track of the Pioneer Podcast (the battle pass) add a bit more.
